That means supporting strong learning, student well-being and safe, inclusive schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. RESPONSIBLE STEWARDSHIP<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Public resources deserve careful, thoughtful decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Laurie believes decisions should be evidence-based, accountable and transparent. As SD62 (Sooke) experiences significant growth and change, careful planning and responsible financial decisions will be increasingly important.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. COMMUNITY REPRESENTATION<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our schools are at the heart of our communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Laurie believes trustees need to listen to the people they represent and advocate for schools and resources that keep pace with the needs of growing communities.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students.
